Bad Directions Issue #5 Published

The fifth issue of Bad Directions, my monthly newsletter on writing and travel, has been published! Subscribers get to read about the woman known as the Mother of the Atomic Bomb; how authors choose epigraphs; and some of my favorite places around New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.

Subscribers also have access to all previously published editions, which so far include stories from Oaxaca (Issue #1), Paris and Budapest (Issue #2), Baja (Issue #3), and Washington, DC (Issue #4). As a bonus, readers can ask me anything about writing or travel and I’ll do my best to respond.

You can sign up for Bad Directions here. The link to the archives (password required) is here.
