It’s been half a year since launch! The sixth issue of Bad Directions, my monthly newsletter on writing and travel, was published on September 24th, 2023. Subscribers get to read about cycling the Palouse to Cascades trail in Washington State; the function of blurbs in today’s publishing landscape; and some of my favorite newsletters for writers.
Subscribers also have access to all previously published editions, which so far include stories from Oaxaca (Issue #1), Paris and Budapest (Issue #2), Baja (Issue #3), Washington, DC (Issue #4), and New Hampshire (Issue #5). As a bonus, readers can ask me anything about writing or travel and I’ll do my best to respond.
