In January, in a fit of new-year hubris, I took down my old website. I thought I would get the new one up and running in a matter of days. Because I was listening to a lot of techno-optimist podcasts that encouraged me to overestimate my abilities, I planned to accomplish this entirely myself.
Then we moved. We remodeled. We started a business. Painting had to be done and furniture acquired. There was some travel. There was paying work. My writing time shrank depressingly. Finally, I called in reinforcements. Thanks, Sumy! Now, seven months later, I have a digital shingle once more.
The interwebs missed me while I was gone like the ocean misses a drop of water. But I, for one, am glad to be back.
