It’s one thing to write a book. It’s another to make it impossible to put down. As a longtime journalist, editor, and three-time author, I’ll work with you to get your vision onto the page. I love to help memoirists and experts find their voices, and my unique background has given me strong knowledge of business, science, and travel.

Experience

Whether I’m developing ideas, editing, or writing, great storytelling lies at the heart of all my work.

  • I’ve held staff jobs at Reuters, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal and been published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Wired, and many other venues.
  • I’ve written three critically acclaimed books under my own name, the memoirs Bare and Wanderlust as well as the novel The Outlier.
  • I was an editor of The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists for eight years, where I worked with experts including Nobel Prize winners and other world-renowned scientists. I turned academic writing into prose that the whole world can understand and enjoy.
  • I was a writer and editor for Keybridge Communications, where I drafted articles and book chapters for policy leaders, trade groups, and former government officials.
  • I’ve won two Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism awards and been anthologized in The Best American Travel Writing.

I love great stories and big ideas. Let’s get yours out into the world.
